Answers that will meet the standards of every question demand concerning Costa Rica, elopement.
Getting hitched or any name you can give for exchanging marriage vowels, for business traveling, groups, celebration meetings or whatever else.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a very private beach ceremony to respect Angie's Mom's dying wish that she marry Brad before her death.
Angelina's Mom passed away 3 weeks later after they eloped in Costa Rica, this was like 2 yrs. ago.
It is a very popular honeymoon destination as well, it is very beautiful here, you'll see, it is the Best Tropical Paradise Ever !
I received your 1st message on Facebook a few hours ago and just now received the one about changing to the Pacific side of Costa Rica.
I did a lot of online research on the Caribbean side of CR since neither I.
Nor my Hubby have been to that side before...it is very secluded there, except in Limon where the port is.
BUT, from what I saw, and what I have heard. Limon [the city] wouldn't be the best ideal for a nice romantic beach wedding.
Other parts of the Province of Limon would. The other main places of the Caribbean side of Costa Rica are Puerto Viejo, Cahuita, and Tortuguero.
These 3 areas are further south of Limon Province and much more secluded.
The beautiful beaches are even 'more' beautiful than the Pacific side because of less people, much more natural.
You know? However, the closest airport to the Caribbean side is 3-4 hours away in San Jose.
And most of the hotels are not actual hotels, but bungalows, most have A/C though, that's good since that side is much more humid.
The hotels that were "real" hotels were too far from a beach, like 2 miles.
I might have missed some hotels too.
My Husband called one hotel and asked what other gourmet meals were included besides grilled salmon.
The guy said only seafood and chicken was offered. Again, that was only one hotel of 100s.
If you think you might still consider a Caribbean wedding, then I recommend Puerto Viejo for sure.
Therefore, I'm going to have to agree with you and say I highly recommend the Pacific side more than the other side, too! And I will again definitely have to say Tamarindo or Santa Cruz.
Both are in the Province of Guanacaste and both are less than an hour from the Liberia Airport AND most of the hotels are right on the Pacific.
VERY convenient! Oh, AND you guys would be much closer to the major attractions such as the Arenal Volcano with it's WONDERFUL natural thermal hot waters.
Monteverde rain forests, and so much more to see and do, of course all depends on how long you are staying here]. Here is the page to go to for all hotels available in these places:
